Cody – Adopted

Our Happy Endings

We are so happy to announce that Cody, our 18 month old German Shepherd x Labrador girl has been adopted πŸŽ‰

Cody was picked up as a stray when she was only 5 months old, she had severe pneumonia and almost died but miraculously she made a full recovery with no lasting health issues 😊

Cody is a sweet and caring, everything friendly  dog who always wants to make sure everyone is ok. She loves to curl up at the side of her humans to have a fuss and loves to be sang to 🎢 She has a naturally cautious nature but she loves to play, especially with tug toys and footballs ⚽️

Josh and Stacey were looking for a canine addition to their human family, they fell in love with Cody from her photos and travelled a long way to come and meet her πŸš™ Cody and their young daughter became instant friends and Cody’s beautiful personality convinced them she was the only dog for them πŸ’œ

Congratulations sweet girl, you have a wonderful future ahead of you 😘

Ella – Permanent Foster

In Foster, Our Happy Endings

Ella is our lovely 11 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl who is in her furever foster home with Monica πŸŽ‰

Ella was found as a stray and taken to the local pound but nobody came to claim her so she was placed at the top of the list to be euthanised simply because she was an old Staffy and the pound was overcapacity 😒

Ella is a sweet and gentle girl who loves cuddles and playing almost as much as she likes sleeping 😴 She is everything friendly, fully housetrained, knows the basic commands and walks well on lead after some initial excitement. 🐾

We do not have any history for Ella but all of old the scars on her body along with healed broken bones, a small missing part of her jaw, no muscle in her rear leg and the puncture wounds you can feel in the top of her head tell us a very horrific and brutal story about her past 😒

As a result of the awful life this poor girl has had and her senior age, we have decided that Ella should stay as a ‘furever foster’ under Lucky, surrounded by loving people and a dedicated team so she will always have everything she needs and deserves for her final years πŸ’œ

Lola – Adopted

Our Happy Endings

Lola (was Luminita) our cute 3 year old Chihuahua x JRT girl has been adopted by her fosterers Shane, Shell and family 🏑

Lola is a sweet and loving little girl who likes nothing more that to cuddle up with her human or doggy friends. She knows the basic commands and thanks to some amazing positive based training by her new family she is now brilliant on and off lead and fully toilet trained 😁 Lola was seriously overweight when she came into rescue but thanks to a controlled diet as well as having lots of walks and playing games to improve her health and to encourage weight loss she is already a lot slimmer and loving her new, active lifestyle 🐾

We suspected Lola was always going to be staying with her foster family as they had been waiting a long time to find the perfect dog for them and a sister for their resident dog, Sammie the Sproker, one look at Lola’s photo and they knew she was ‘the one’ πŸ’–

Congratulations pretty girl, you’ve certainly landed on your paws with your new family, be happy sweetheart 😘

Dulux – Adopted

Our Happy Endings

We are happy to announce that Dulux, our stunning 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy has been adopted by his foster mum Deborah and family πŸŽ‰

Dulux did his 7 days at the pound waiting for his owner to come and collect him but unfortunately no-one did and for no other reasons but the pounds being full and him being a Staffy he was at serious risk of being euthanised 😒

Dulux is a sweet, laid back and loving boy who is wonderful with other dogs and children. He knows the basics and is fully housetrained. He is an all round amazing boy so it was no surprise that his foster family couldn’t let him go πŸ’™

Congratulations on your forever home gorgeous boy, you have a wonderful future ahead of you 😘

Ronnie – Adopted

Our Happy Endings

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Ronnie, our stunning 3 year old Rottweiler girl has been adopted by her foster family πŸŽ‰

Ronnie came into Lucky when one of our fosterers saw her being advertised for sale to anyone who could take her that day, she had been in at least 5 homes in the previous 3 months and her new owners had her for only a couple of days but because she hadn’t settled immediately she was sold on 😒

Ronnie is a real sweetheart who was just confused and scared but now she knows she is safe and wont be hurt she absolutely loves curling up on the sofa with her humans for cuddles ❀️

Ronnie has settled in with Lisa and family so well that they couldn’t bare to part with her and although she still has a little way to go with trusting strangers when she meets them, she is extremely happy and her playful side is slowly emerging πŸ˜„

Congratulations on your furever home sweet girl, you really deserve it 😘

Poppy – Adopted

Our Happy Endings

We are so happy to be able to let everyone know that Poppy, our gorgeous 3 year old Bearded Collie x girl has been adopted by her fosterers, Ian & Sammy and is now the fur-sister of our first ever Lucky dog, the handsome Teddy πŸŽ‰

Poppy is a beautiful scruffy girl who was found wandering the streets, heavily pregnant. Unfortunately no owner came forward for her so Poppy and her 2 pups were cared for in wonderful and experienced foster home under another rescue while she raised her pups (who have been adopted to loving homes through that rescue) 🏘

Poppy came to Lucky and went straight into foster with Ian and Sammy who had been waiting, rather excitedly, since they first saw a photo of her when she was first found all dirty, matted and heavily pregnant and fell completely in love, just as they had with Teddy all that time ago ❀️

Congratulations on your furever family sweet girl, you are going to be a very pampered pooch 😘

Chloe was spotted out in the middle of nowhere by some hikers who alerted a local rescuer, after hours of searching she was found and taken to safety where she was cared for and nursed back to full health 😊

Chloe is a sweetheart, she loves people, dogs, cats and even horses which means she has fit in perfectly with her new family and they just couldn’t bare to part with her ❀️

Pepper – Adopted

Our Happy Endings

We are so happy to announce that Pepper, our pretty 6 year old Border Collie girl has been adopted by Janet πŸŽ‰

Pepper came to Lucky as an owner surrender due to them having no time for her, she has had very little exercise or stimulation before coming to us which resulted in her light chasing and being a little overweight 😒 but these issues have been worked on with great success, she has already lost 2kg and her light chasing has almost stopped completely just from getting lots of exercise, attention and things to keep her mind busy, which is something Janet will continue now she is adopted 😍

Pepper is a sweet and gentle girl who is good with other dogs, cats and children. She loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls 🎾 and adores cuddles which is a trait she shares with her new fur-sister, resident Border Collie, Ellie 🐾

Enjoy your new life with you furever family gorgeous girl, you have a lot of adventures to look forward to πŸ’‹

Ginny is a lovely, sweet natured girl who is brilliant with children and loves cuddling up on the sofa πŸ’— Although she can be a little nervous at times, she loves running around and playing and needed to be in a home with just one other calm dog which makes Harry, their resident Corgi, the perfect playmate for her 🐢

Pippa – Adopted

Our Happy Endings

We are pleased to announce that Pippa, our stunning 2 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier girl has been adopted by Joey and Shelly Β πŸŽ‰

Pippa is genuinely a wonderful and gentle natured dog who loves cuddles 😍 She is brilliant with children but needed a pet free home as she is unsure and a little scared of other dogs and cats. She is fully housetrained, knows the basic commands and is great walking on lead 🐾

Joey and Shelly saw Pippa on our website and knew she would be the perfect dog to complete their family. After successfully going through the application process they had their meet & greet and fell head over heels in love so adopted her that very same day πŸ’œ

Congratulations on your furever family Pippa, you’re going to have a wonderful future πŸ’‹
